event Posters

Since 2017, I've designed posters and outdoor signage for comedy tours, live music shows and venues across Sydney and beyond, across both in-house roles and freelance projects for clients including comedy festivals, touring acts and live music venues.

My approach to poster design is to find the one detail that makes each act, event or venue distinctive, whether that's a comedian's persona, a band's sound, or a venue's atmosphere, and build the whole visual language around that. No two posters look the same, because no two acts or events are the same: the style shifts to suit the client, from bold and graphic to loose and illustrative, rather than defaulting to one signature look. Most projects extend from a primary poster into a full suite of social media assets, with several also requiring large-format outdoor artwork for venue signage and street promotion.
